Jessica's Story
Jessica Peine was killed in an auto accident on 12-15-1998, while walking home with her siblings from school. After the accident her parents donated her organs to the Iowa Donor Network. They also donated her recently purchased Christmas gifts to the Pearl City Outreach. In honor of that Donation, Pearl City Outreah opened Jessica Faye's Closet. The closet has operated since 1999, offering free clothing and household goods, to those in need with no questions asked or money exchanged.
Jessica Faye's Closet Accepts gently used clothing and household goods daily. Patrons are allowed to take what they need with no questions asked. Not only have they met the needs of the Muscatine area, care packages have been sent thru Missions throughout Central America, South Western USA reservations, as well as in response to many recent National Disasters.
To carry on this service, not only are goods needed, but financial donations are also greatly appreciated to help with utilities. Please contact Pearl City Outreach if you would like to donate. |
